Kangerlussuaq Airport is run by the Greenland Airport Authority known as Mittarfeqarfiit, under the Greenland Self-Rule Government.
The Hotel
Although it was a former military base, today it’s a civilian airport.As a development of the airport terminal facilities, Mittarfeqarfiit created a well-functioning hotel and conference venue called Hotel Kangerlussuaq.
Rooms
The airport in Kangerlussuaq serves 250,000 passengers a year, and the hotel provides overnight accommodations for many of them. There are a total of 66 rooms and a variety of room types. The rooms offer private bathrooms and mountain views.
