September - travel to Greenland

In September, nights are now dark as we approach the autumn equinox, where day and night are of equal duration in Greenland.
Photographers revel in this season's light and colours. The low lying vegetation such as moss and willow change to shades of red, yellow and brown. In the low autumn sun, nature radiates in its colourful splendour, like a picture created in Photoshop.
The nights become gradually darker and you can again experience the Northern Lights on most of Greenland's coast. You can see the first snowfalls on the mountain peaks, but the temperature is very comfortable for day trips.
